This June, Conley is sending the Bronze Bunny to the Big Easy as part of the Sculpture for New Orleans public art program. Conley's Bronze Bunny will be installed in historic Lafayette Square along with the work of internationally reknowned artist Louise Bourgeois.

The concept of Sculpture for New Orleans is to bring national and international attention to the visual arts and the artists of post-Katrina New Orleans. With the support an international field of artists, the sculpture exhibition will give local artists a chance to assist, install and network with visiting artists like Tara Conley. In addition, the public installation will give New Orleans's local artists a much-needed show of support.

This two-year exhibition, organized by the Mariposa Arts Foundation and artist Michael Manjarris, occurs throughout the city of New Orleans with the placement of monumental artworks enhanced by lectures and workshops for the community.
