to raise funds for Bronze Bunny's
trip to New Orleans at the Arena One Tower Penthouse. More information and

Bunny in Sculpture for New Orleans
Tara Conley's
monumental new work, Bronze Bunny, is scheduled to appear alongside
that of internationally celebrated artist Louise Bourgeois
in New Orleans's historic Lafayette Square this June as part of the Sculpture

Words of Three
Dimensions
Tara Conley
premiered small scale word sculptures crafted from wax and bronze. Like a
childhood sticker collection, Conley maintains a word collection gathered
from phrases heard in conversation. Now, leaving the pages of her sketchbooks,
they become three-dimensional wall pieces. Houston Center for Contemporary

HCCC Welcomes
Conley as Artist in Residence
The Houston
Center for Contemporary Craft has selected Tara Conley to participate in their
prestigious Studio Artist program. From September 2007 through January 2008,
Tara Conley can be observed as she creates artwork in her studio space at
the HCCC.
10 Women /
10 Perspectives at AACL
Tara Conley
is one of ten artists whose work appeared at the Arts Alliance of Clear Lake
November 1st through 29th, 2007. The show, 10 Women / 10 Perspectives,
focused on the work, profiles, and inspiration of ten emerging female artists
from the Houston area.
Conley Premieres Line of Furniture and Accessories
In Spring 2007, Tara Conley unveiled her new line of indoor and outdoor
furniture and accessories to rave reviews. Judy and Scott Nyquist graciously
hosted this event in their River Oaks home.
Inner Corridor
Art Open Studio Tour
Tara Conley
participated as both an artist and a sponsor in the Spring 2007 Inner Corridor
Art Open Studio Tour. This annual event is a rare opportunity to take a peek
inside the studios of artists working in Houston’s historic First, Fifth

Conley Curates
Sculpture Exhibition
Tara Conley participated
as a curator for the North Harris College's Fifteenth Annual Sculpture Vision
Exhibition. The outdoor show, titled "my life as a tree," featured
Magdalen Celestino, Tina Kotrla, Lee Littlefield, Elena Lopez-Poirot, Patrick
Renner and Susanne York. The show was on view from February 15 through May
4, 2007.

League Show
Juror Carter
Foster, Curator of Drawings at the Whitney Museum in New York City, awarded
Tara Conley Third Place in the Assistance League of Houston Celebrates
Texas Art 2007 show.
Premiere of New
Work
On November 30th, 2006,
sculptor Tara Conley held a fun-filled studio open house, during which she
premiered new drawings on metal and birch panel as well as a preview of a
new sculpture to be displayed at the Wortham Center. This

at Wortham Center
On December
15th, a new sculpture created by Tara Conley was unveiled downtown at the
Wortham Center as part of the Buffalo Bayou Art Park exhibition.

Selects Conley's Work
Carter Foster, Curator
of Drawings at the Whitney Museum in New York chose two works by sculptor
Tara Conley to be shown in the Assistance League of Houston Celebrates
Texas Art 2007 exhibition at the Williams Tower Gallery in Houston. Golden
Girls Lovely Lady and Rentaprize (now in a private collection)
were previously exhibited in 2006 at New Gallery/Thom Andriola in Tara’s
solo exhibition, Uprights.
